Marketing Apprenticeship
What does the course aim to do?
The Marketing Apprenticeship has been designed to address the challenges for employers of all sizes across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
It will attract new talent into the Marketing industry and help to up skill the workforce to meet employer skills priorities.
Intermediate apprentices- are likely to work in job roles such as marketing assistant, market research assistant or events management assistant; undertaking a range of activities which might include collecting market research data, analyzing competitor activity, contributing to marketing campaigns, planning and organising an event or exhibition and using a range of digital technologies.
Advanced apprentices-are likely to work in job roles such as marketing co-coordinator, junior marketing executive/officer, advertising account executive or market researcher; undertaking a range of activities which might include conducting market research, designing and evaluating marketing plans, contributing to advertising and promotional campaigns and events, maintaining a portfolio of products and managing budgets.

What qualifications will the learner achieve?
Level 2 Intermediate and Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship award via City & Guilds, which are recognised vocational qualifications and recognised worldwide as proof of skills and competence in the chosen areas.
How will the learner’s progress be assessed?
The learner’s skills and knowledge will be assessed in the work place by an appointed assessor/tutor who will assess the learner’s skills, competence and knowledge.
Are there any entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements for learners undertaking this qualification, but the learner will undertake an initial assessment to determine the level of qualification they can undertake and they must be in full time employment.
What Careers could it lead to?
The Marketing Apprenticeship is designed to help the learner progress to the next level in a marketing team - with a Level 2 or 3 qualifications the learner can move into a leadership role.
