ISM Sales qualifications with Aston L4

re you thinking of moving into sales management or account management?  ISM qualifications are written by sales experts and are designed to equip you with knowledge and understanding of theories for sales and account management.  They are all recognised by Ofqual, the UK examinations regulator.  Level 4 is for you if you meet any of these criteria:

  • You are an aspiring or practicing sales manager

  • You are an aspiring or practicing account manager

  • Your role requires you to manage other people and/or resources

  • You want to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in sales and account management

  • You want a qualification at a level equivalent to first year degree or Higher National Certificate

  • You want to be assessed on your ability to identify and use relevant understanding, methods and skills to address problems that are well defined but complex and non-routine, taking responsibility for overall courses of action and exercising autonomy and judgement within fairly broad parameters.

We offer a choice of eight bite-size qualifications in Sales and Marketing:

Level 4 Award in Managing responsible selling

  • 4 credits

Level 4 Award in Understanding segmentation, targeting and positioning

  • 5 credits

Level 4 Award in Managing a sales team

  • 6 credits

Level 4 Award in Operational sales planning

  • 5 credits

Level 4 Award in Sales negotiations

  • 5 credits

Level 4 Award in Analysing the marketing environment

  • 5 credits

Level 4 Award in Finance for sales managers

  • 7 credits

Level 4 Award in Writing and delivering a sales proposal

  • 4 credits

We also offer two bigger qualifications:

Level 4 Certificate in Sales and Marketing Management

  • 18 credits

Level 4 Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management

  • 41 credits

ISM qualifications are ‘nested’ so you can start with a small qualification and then build on it to get a bigger qualification.
