Apprentice Cabling & Soldering Technician

Do you have a keen eye for detail and excellent hand to eye coordination who demonstrates a general interest in manufacturing?

Coalville based manufacturing company ‘Custom Lynx Cabling Ltd’ are looking to recruit an individual who is willing and eager to learn new skills from experienced co-workers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge within a successful industry leader in the supply of Audio and visual cabling products.

Duties will include:

• Cable assembly to include use of soldering irons
• Electrical testing equipment and use of tools
• Cutting and measuring cables
• Testing and checking finished products
• Tidying and maintenance of work area

A Lean Manufacturing Operative Standard Qualification is a perfect starting point for an ambitious and driven individual.

‘Custom Lynx Cabling Ltd’ are looking for someone who demonstrates a practical approach to tasks. You must:

• Have some experience working with hand tools but not essential
• Be able to read shop drawings but full training will be given
• Have good numeracy skills
