Text Box: Congratulations to Claire Povey who is an assessor in one of our assessment centres, Christopher James in Kettering.  She has attended WELLA World Studio in London (by invitation) to complete her Master Colour Expert. The course ran for three days and Claire came joint 1st achieving 95%!  Claire now goes onto a national register that you can access via the web and she can be consulted and give advice on  any WELLA colouring query. This is quite an impressive achievement as it is by invitation only; you have to prove your colour knowledge first by completing the master colour award.  Wella gave them a block which is divided into quarters and one dyed red, one black, one bleached and one a shade 6/0.  The candidate then has  a limited time to make the whole head the same as the 6/0!!! Not an easy feat.

Text Box: Joanne Moriarty from Inspire has been promoted to senior stylist.  She took her NVQ Level 2 with us and is currently undertaking her Level 3. Cydnie Camper from Lara Boot has been promoted to Colour Technician.  She only started training for her NVQ Level 2 with Aston in January 2008. We would also like to congratulate Sarah Lovesey at Avant Garde on completing her first three trainees to such a high standard. As an assessment centre she and her team do us proud. On final IV (quality assurance) we did a 100% sample with no actions, which is very rare.  Well Done Sarah!

Text Box: The Avant Garde Trainee Fashion show took place recently.            The five pictured on the front row are Avant Garde's trainees and behind them are the models.  Adele Heathcote, Joseph Angier and Hannah Reed have only two years’ training behind them and Micky Hall and Lauren Drage have only one year.  The standard is outstanding and they all deserve congratulating.
