What can I do afterwards?
You can progress onto an Advanced Apprenticeship, work as a stylist in a salon, work on cruise ships, work abroad – Australia especially want hairdressers, and there many more options available to you.

What are the entry requirements?

This is a government funded programme, with funding only available for 16-24 year olds.  A good standard of education; GSCEs or equivalent are required as the NVQ includes practical, written and theory work. You need to be employed with a salon that is willing to support you through an Apprenticeship programme and who will allow day release attendance at Aston.  We can help you in finding employment.
