About Us

Aston is a family run business that was established in 1987.  Formerly known as Aston Commercial Training, we became a limited company in August 2004 when Aston Recruitment & Training Ltd was formed.  The Directors are: Beverley Whatmore (Managing Director) and Anita Wright (Operations Director).   

In 2003, we won a National Training Award for our achievement in Business Administration.

Aston secured the Learning Venue of the Year award for Learndirect and Hairdressing Trainee of the Year in the Northamptonshire Hair Awards in both 2004 and 2005.  Later the same year, we started working towards MATRIX standards and successfully achieved this prestigious accreditation in January 2006.

We were the proud training provider of one of the Apprenticeship Finalists in the Northamptonshire Personal Achiever 2007 category as well as the winner of the Northamptonshire and East Midlands Apprentice of the Year 2007 in the LSC regional awards.

Throughout Aston’s history, we have gained a reputation for being a quality training provider.  Today and in the future we will endeavour to develop our portfolio and maintain the high level of service that people have come to expect from us.
